PALM OIL PRODUCTS LABELLING

Will the Minister support the campaign to save endangered orangutans and other animals and plants by endorsing a recommendation to label all products containing palm oil sold in New South Wales at the 25 November meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Ministerial Forum on Food Regulation?

Decisions as to what recommendations Ministers will or will not support at any gathering of State and Federal Ministers is usually endorsed by Cabinet prior to the meeting. Due process will be followed at the meeting to which the member refers.
