O'FARRELL REFUSES TO LOWER RAIL FARES ON THE AIRPORT LINE
REJECTS EXPERT ADVICE
The O'Farrell Government has rejected the advice of Infrastructure NSW and the Joint Study into Aviation Capacity and will keep gouging passengers for using the airport rail line - despite having the power to lower prices on the privately constructed line.
"Rather than improving public transport to the airport, the O'Farrell Government has chosen to gouge passengers instead," Shadow Transport Minister, Penny Sharpe said today.
"The O'Farrell Government is ignoring the advice of all the experts who say the airport line fares should be lowered."
