Blogosphere delivers a polling triumph - the Pollercoaster

Out there in the political tragic part of the blogosphere (where I admit I occassionally lurk) lies a number of people with too much time on their hands. I have come across this post today from Possum Comitatus who has developed the Pollercoaster. A very different way of seeing the fortunes of the Federal ALP over the last 7 years. I loved it.

You know when Rove asks his special guest every week who they would turn gay for - today when I attended the launch of the HREOC launch of Same- Sex - Same Entitlements Report I considered that I would be prepared to turn straight for Human Rights Commissioner Graeme Innes.
Childcare Rage

Does anyone else think it is an outrage that the Federal government is going to spend $50 million making childcare centres install swipe cards and PIN systems?
While waiting lists grow and high quality community based centres are stretched to the limit, the Feds think that what is needed is a crackdown on fraud and more measuring of demand to try and identify the problem.
Everyone know what the problems are, lack of places, lack of resources, poor pay for staff, the move into making children a profit based industry and basically a lack of political will to provide what is actually an essential service for both families and the economy.
