PREMIER UNDERMINED BY CITIZEN'S JURY - GREINER RUNNING THE SHOW
O'FARRELL SAYS GREINER "HAS HAD BETTER IDEAS"

Premier Barry O'Farrell and his Infrastructure NSW Chair, Nick Greiner have fallen out over plans for a citizen's jury to decide on what infrastructure projects to build and fund – with the Premier arguing Mr Greiner "has had better ideas".

"Barry O'Farrell has been undermined by his own Chair of Infrastructure NSW, Nick Greiner with his plan to develop a citizen's jury to decide on what infrastructure projects to build and how to fund them," Opposition Leader, John Robertson said today.

"The Premier's comment that Nick Greiner "has had better ideas" says it all.

"The public tit for tat between Mr O'Farrell and Mr Greiner over infrastructure priorities is not doing anything for the people who elected Barry O'Farrell to deliver better roads and public transport.

"All Mr O'Farrell and Mr Greiner have succeeded at is confusing the people of NSW about who is really leading the State.

"Nick Greiner is clearly underwhelmed by the Premier's progress.

"Barry O'Farrell has had 16 years in Opposition to prepare and nine months in Government, but the so called Infrastructure Premier still isn't ready.

"Instead, the O'Farrell Government has announced review after review, a public transport plan that won't be released for more than 12 months and five year and 20 year infrastructure plans that were supposed to be released by the end of this year but are nowhere to be seen.

"Barry O'Farrell should be embarrassed by Nick Greiner's announcement. It is clear even his own chief advisors don’t have faith in him to deliver the infrastructure he promised."
