Thanks for being part of the first NSW Public Sphere event!
If you missed the link on Friday, here is the transcript of the Premier's speech. The Premier launched the apps4nsw Public Competition at NSW Public Sphere. For more information check out www.information.nsw.gov.au/2009/.
Right now, we're pulling together the analytics, tweets and transcripts of talks, and editing videos of the speeches from Friday. We will a draft discussion-wiki ready to be launched at the One Web Day event at Parliament on 22 September. (If you can volunteer to help with transcripts, please contact me.)
I would like to bring together in one spot a directory of gov 2.0 initiatives in NSW as well as resources for people who want to utilise technology to improve the way government works. If you've seen a good initiative, read a good article or seen something from overseas that might work here, please send me the link.
The Premier has also asked me to work with the Department of Services, Technology and Administration to organise a further event to build on the outcomes from NSW Public Sphere.
And I want your input. What should we cover? How can NSW build on the good work already happening? What should another event look like? Who should be involved? And what should the back channel look like?

I've noticed that ermha constantly have ads in 4 staff, they and others often say in ad. this is a new position created. 45% of Australians r supposed 2 have mental health problems in their lifetimes. When the next dsm comes out it will b 100%, they say every possible mental emotion & condition will b pathologised, disease mongered by the time they bring out a new psychiatry bible. Pharmaceutical companies r unlikely 2 lose out in this health reform. 2 c how toxic psychiatric drugs r u can look at youtube, put in any drug name in search, or OnlineLegalNews on twitter cchrint on twitter. The situation cld arise where they rush everyone out of icu, but have tons of money 4 all kinds of psych. bull. Any health reforms will run down what matters, and increase pharmaceutical company profits at the same time. All prevention is exercise and diet, don't smoke, don't drink, all other prevention is simply pushing drugs. Australian of the year gets a heap of money from pharmaceutical companies according 2 cchrint. All mental helping agencies r pharmaceutical company backed, psychiatrists get a heap of inducements from pharm. cos, the media gets a heap of money from pharma cos. Senator Stephen Conroy censorship - we'll b joining China, Iran, Nth Korea, Burma. Ppr 250 million bought off criticism 7,9,10. 1st western democracy 2 censor internet
